Fall 2019 Team Leagues and Registration Form

The Community Center is located at 156 Proffitt Road, next to Gatlinburg-Pittman High School and Rocky Top Sports World. The Community Center is a 52,000 square foot facility which consists of: an indoor swimming pool, a bowling center, a fitness area, a gymnasium and racquetball courts. 

The entire Community Center is free to use for 90+ year old citizens.

Hours of Operation

September 1 - May 31

  • Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM - 8:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Sunday: 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Public swim time is subject to swim lessons and swim team schedules.
The pool closes 1/2 hour before the Community Center.

June 1 - August 31

  • Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Sunday: 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Public swim time is subject to swim lessons and swim team schedules.

Kids Bowling Birthday Parties - Parents may reserve party time with bowling staff during regular hours.

  • Times are available as follows:
    • Monday - Friday  11:00 AM to 6:00 PM*
    • Saturday             11:00 AM to 6:00 PM*
    • Sunday                1:30 PM to 5:30 PM*

*Subject to availability - special events, leagues and high school bowling.

Parties are scheduled in two-hour increments and shall include:

  • Set-up of table and chairs.
  • Lanes 1-4 with free bumper use, if desired.  Minimum of five children per lane.
  • Kids will bowl in socks when shoes become unavailable.

Renter shall be responsible for:

  • Provide and setting all table decorations, plates, napkins, cups, etc.
  • Providing food and drink.
  • Insuring that food and drink do not enter pit area.
  • General clean-up of area.

Fee will be $5.00 per child (ages 6-18 years).  Collect a $20.00 non-refundable deposit at time of reservation.  Collect Balance of fee at party time.  Conduct a head count of children to verify reservation.  Adult bowlers will pay regular price.  Bowling ramps are available if not previously in use.

Tone Zone is a multi-purpose workout (fitness) area.

Gymnasium

The gymnasium consists of two regulation size courts which can be utilized for basketball. If you would like to utilize the gymnasium for another purpose please contact the Recreation Department at (865) 436-4990.  Cost is $25.00 per hour/per court.

Yearly Tournament - Mountain Madness, USRA sanctioned, December.

We strive to maintain a welcoming and family friendly atmosphere at the Gatlinburg Community Center. Everyone using the facilities is encouraged to abide by our Code of Conduct so that everyone can enjoy their experience at the Center. The Code of Conduct is available at the Community Center office. This code shall apply to the Gatlinburg Community Center, surrounding grounds and any grounds under the operation and control of the Gatlinburg Recreation Department.
