GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The City of Gatlinburg has announced its New Year's Day holiday observance schedule.
Gatlinburg City Hall and government offices, including the administrative offices of the Gatlinburg Police and Fire Departments, will be closed on Monday, January 1. All offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2.
The Gatlinburg Community Center will close at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 31 and be closed on Monday January 1. The Community Center will reopen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2.
Residential and commercial trash collection services will occur as normal for the New Years holiday.
The Gatlinburg Golf Course will operate on a normal schedule and the Clubhouse will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 31 and Monday, January 1.
The Gatlinburg Trolley System will operate on an extended hours schedule on Sunday, December 31. Trolley service begins at 10:30 a.m. on New Years Eve and will run for 90 minutes after the completion of the New Year’s Eve event in downtown Gatlinburg. Trolley service will resume a regular schedule on Monday, January 1, with operating hours from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
