GATLINBURG, Tenn.— The City of Gatlinburg has announced its Environmental Design Review Awards for 2023.
The winners were announced at both the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet on November 27 and the December 12, 2023 Gatlinburg City Commission meeting.
Gatlinburg Sky Park was honored as the Sign Design Excellence Award Winner. Its sign was made by Smith Group. Two Certificates of Recognition were presented in this category as well to LeConte Tapas and Grill and Bears Cove in the Glades. LeConte Tapas & Grill’s sign was designed by Sign Company and Bears Cove in the Glades sign was designed by Fast Signs
LeConte Tapas & Grill was named as the Building Additions/Renovations Excellence Award Winner. The project architect was Trotter and Defoe Architects, and the contractor was Jeff Davies Services. Jason Aldean’s Kitchen & Rooftop Bar was presented a Certificate of Recognition in this category. The project architect was OX Studios, LLC. and the contractor was CCS Construction, LLC.
Gatlinburg Sky Park was named as the New Building Design Excellence Award Winner. The project architect was Smith Group.
