All work expected to be completed by mid-morning on May 14
GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The Gatlinburg Utilities Department will be conducting utility construction overnight on Monday, May 13 and the morning hours of Tuesday, May 14. This construction will result in modified traffic patterns in the 200 block of Airport Road.
Beginning at 9 p.m. on May 13, both traffic lanes of traffic will be temporarily diverted to a single lane in each direction to allow for this work. Also, during this time, Cloverleaf Lane at its intersection of Airport Road will also be temporarily closed.
All work is expected to be complete and normal traffic patterns restored by mid-morning on May 14.
The City urges motorists and pedestrians to use caution in this area during the construction, to protect the safety of themselves and Gatlinburg Utilities Department crews.
