GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The City of Gatlinburg has announced its observance schedule for the Veterans Day Holiday.

 

Gatlinburg City Hall and government offices, including the administrative offices of the Gatlinburg Police and Fire Departments, will be closed on Monday, November 11. All offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12.

 

The Gatlinburg Community Center will be open beginning at 6 a.m. on Veterans Day. The Gatlinburg Golf Course will also be open on Monday, November 11.

 

Residential and commercial trash collection services will occur as normal for the Veterans Day Holiday.

 

The Gatlinburg Trolley System will operate its Trolleys on its normal Winter schedule on Veterans Day. Trolleys operate from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday as part of its Winter operating schedule. Gatlinburg will host its 25th annual Veterans Day Observance Ceremony on Monday, November 11 at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies Plaza. The community event will begin at 11 a.m. Since the year 2000, Gatlinburg has been designated an official Regional Site for the Observance of Veterans Day as designated by Veterans Day National Committee and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
