Facility to offer citizens & businesses convenient payment options, including drive-thru
GATLINBURG, Tenn.— The City of Gatlinburg is announcing that its new Customer Service Center, which is located at 912 East Parkway, will be opening at 8 a.m. on Thursday, November 21. The public is invited to a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, which will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 21.
The Customer Service Center is housed at a former banking institution and is designed to enhance the convenience and accessibility for the payment of City services for Gatlinburg residents and businesses. To further enhance convenience for City customers, the Customer Service Center will offer a drive-thru payment option, allowing customers to make these payments without leaving their vehicles.
“This new Customer Service Center is all about convenience for our citizens and businesses,” said Gatlinburg City Manager Greg Patterson. “Our goal is make our services more accessible and convenient for everyone and the addition of a drive-thru payment option is a big step toward that goal.”
The City’s first day of operations at the facility will be on Thursday, November 21 beginning at 8 a.m. The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Customer Service Center will handle payments for a range of City services, including business licenses, privilege taxes, utility bills, parking permits, building and sign permits, beer permits, tourist residency permits, and fishing licenses, among others.
“This facility reflects the City’s commitment to improving services and accessibility for our residents and business community,” Gatlinburg Mayor Mike Werner said. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact the Customer Service Center will have on our community."
The City of Gatlinburg invites residents and businesses to visit the new Customer Service Center during the Grand Opening and to take advantage of the convenient payment access which will be provided at this new location.
