GATLINBURG, Tenn.— The City of Gatlinburg officially opened its Customer Service Center on Thursday, November 21.
The new facility, which streamlines interaction with the City and its citizens and businesses, opened at 8 a.m. and was officially christened with a Grand Opening Celebration later Thursday afternoon.
The Customer Service Center, which is located at 912 East Parkway, is designed to enhance the convenience and accessibility for the payment of City services. A convenient drive-thru payment option is also available, to further enhance the access for customers to make payments without leaving their vehicles. Additionally, a payment drop box is available for those making payments outside of regular business hours.
“This is an exciting day for our city, as we officially open the Customer Service Center, which marks a significant milestone in our commitment to improving how we serve the residents, businesses, and visitors of Gatlinburg,” City Manager Greg Patterson said at Thursday afternoon’s Grand Opening Celebration. “This Customer Service Center has been thoughtfully designed to be a one-stop destination for handling a wide range of essential city services.”
The Customer Service Center will handle payments for a range of City services, including business licenses, privilege taxes, utility bills, parking permits, building and sign permits, beer permits, tourist residency permits, and fishing licenses, among others.
“This facility reflects the City’s commitment to improving services and accessibility for our residents and business community,” Gatlinburg Mayor Mike Werner said. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact the Customer Service Center will have on our community."
The City of Gatlinburg invites residents and businesses to visit the new Customer Service Center to take advantage of the convenient payment access which will be provided at this new location.
