Michele Diebold

GATLINBURG, Tenn.—Gatlinburg Human Resources Director Michele Diebold was recently honored by the Tennessee Public Risk Management Association (TN PRIMA) at its annual conference.

 

Diebold, who has been with the City of Gatlinburg since 2014, received the Tennessee PRIMA President’s Award. TN PRIMA President Jennifer Hood chose Diebold to receive the award for her commitment and dedication to the organization, as well as her exceptional contributions to the profession and the TN PRIMA organization. Diebold serves as the Vice President of East Tennessee PRIMA.

 

“On behalf of the City of Gatlinburg, I would like to congratulate Michele on receiving the Tennessee PRMIA President’s Award,” said Gatlinburg City Manager Greg Patterson. “Michele’s unwavering dedication to the City and its employees, along with her thoroughness and professionalism, make her truly deserving of this recognition. Her commitment to excellence in her role as the City’s Human Resources Director exemplifies the values we strive to uphold in serving our employees and our community.”

 

Diebold started her career with the City as Human Resources Manager in 2014 and four years later, she was named Human Resources Director, a role in which she also oversees the City’s risk management efforts. She is responsible for the safety and risk management for the City’s 359 full-time and part-time employees.

"This recognition is a reflection of the incredible support I have received from the City of Gatlinburg and its employees. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve such a dedicated team and remain committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism in my work."

 The Tennessee Public Risk Management Association, which was established in 1986, aims to help educate and train public sector risk management professionals across the state and is dedicated to the advancement of public risk management by providing superior education, resources, and networking for those individuals throughout Tennessee.
