NYE Gatlinburg

GATLINBURG, Tenn. – The City of Gatlinburg is excited to announce its 37th Annual New Year’s Eve Celebration, taking place on Tuesday, December 31 at the base of the iconic Gatlinburg Space Needle. This free, family-friendly event has become a cherished tradition for visitors and residents alike.

 

The festivities kick off with a free live concert featuring country music artist Drew Baldridge, which begins at 10:30 p.m. At 11:50 p.m., a breathtaking drone show will light up the sky above the Gatlinburg Convention Center, leading into the highly anticipated ball drop from the Space Needle at midnight. The celebration will conclude with a dazzling fireworks finale to welcome the new year in style.

 

To ensure public safety, road closures will begin at 10:30 p.m. on December 31. The following routes will be affected:

 

·      Airport Road will be closed from its intersection with Parkway to Cloverleaf Lane.

·      Parkway will close in both directions from its intersections at Reagan Drive and Maples Lane to LeConte Street.

·      Detours will be available via River Road, and visitors are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly.

 

The Gatlinburg Police Department strongly encourages attendees to arrive early to secure parking and prime viewing spots for the event.
